As a Montessori Instructor at Bezos Academy, you will play a pivotal role in guiding adult learners through our MACTE-accredited Montessori Credential Program (MCP). Your coaching and Montessori expertise will shape the next generation of classroom teachers providing tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools in under-resourced communities. Your responsibilities include ensuring your adult learners have the content and practice opportunities needed to obtain their credential and become strong Montessori teachers. You will lead synchronous online classes—presenting lectures, demonstrations, and seminars—and manage asynchronous content. You will evaluate adult learners' learning progress and work, providing timely feedback. You will also teach in-person during residencies, serving as a field consultant during learners' practicum experiences. Collaborating closely with other instructors and colleagues, you will ensure the highest quality Montessori teacher training.
To this role, you bring expertise in guiding aspiring Montessori teachers, combined with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, which will be integral as you contribute to ongoing improvements in the Credential Program. You bring a commitment to continuing professional development, experience working with adult learners, and proficiency in utilizing online learning management systems to support a dispersed group of learners. Above all, you share our passion for expanding access to tuition-free, high-quality, Montessori-inspired preschools in under-resourced communities, supporting our readiness to scale to hundreds of schools across the country.
