As Director of Health and Safety you will be responsible for designing, delivering, overseeing and improving a comprehensive health and safety framework for our national school network. You will ensure our organization meets local, state, and national regulatory standards, promotes a safe work environment, and meets all licensing requirements across all jurisdictions. You will lead your own team of health and safety professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in practices and risk management. Critically, you will analyze and prioritize the needs of schools, staff, and other leaders while owning the details and deliverables of your entire team’s programs, anchored by our mission and leadership principles.
You will partner with senior leadership to integrate health and safety best practices at every level, to guide and protect preschool students, staff, and facilities in every diverse community we serve. You will also leverage specialized experience operating in a heavily regulated industry to research, create, and implement mechanisms to champion health and safety with local, state, and federal licensing regulations, as well as organizational standards. This will include developing and deploying new health, safety, and licensing management systems with audit capabilities for regulation tracking across our locations nationwide.
You bring an insatiable drive for impact, and you have a proven track record of coaching others, creating cohesive teams, and producing successful results together. Across your career, you have led, innovated, and delivered impressive results in a variety of situations, demonstrating your versatility and adaptability. You thrive in a start-up environment and can own both the strategic and tactical sides of cross-country objectives. You easily build relationships with all stakeholders, and you swiftly commit to the strategies needed to meet crucial deadlines. Above all, you share our ambition and enthusiasm for expanding access to high quality, Montessori-inspired preschools to children in under-resourced communities across the country, putting the child first in every decision we make.
