JOB SUMMARY:

The Audio Engineer at Christ Fellowship looks after creating highly memorable and emotionally engaging sonic experiences at CF locations. Pivotal to this role – we will need for you to be able to collaborate with our team but also be perfectly fine to take initiative and make it happen on your own.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Collaborate with the core live production department, campus worship pastor and campus pastor to prepare for the weekend experience
  • Strive to create a sonically smooth and studio grade weekend audio experience
  • Integrate new equipment upgrades/expansions
  • Look for opportunities to further develop your skill by attending concerts/conferences
  • Serve at scheduled CF events
  • Attend scheduled programming/review meetings
  • Develop/propose new system/equipment expansions
  • Manage and update consoles and stage patching/pinning
  • Maintain all audio systems/areas to efficient, organized and updated states 

EDUCATION:

Bachelors, Associates or Technical Degree in relevant field and 2+ years’ experience or 4+ years’ experience mixing audio in live production environments

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Fluent with Avid VENUE and Yamaha digital audio console operation
  • Operational knowledge of Avid ProTools
  • Working knowledge of audio plugins ie: Waves, McDsp
  • Skilled in wireless microphone/IEM frequency coordination
  • Working knowledge of networked audio systems ie: AVB, Dante, A-Net
