JOB SUMMARY:

The Video Director | Broadcast at Christ Fellowship looks after creating an engaging visual broadcast for CF Everywhere and campus based viewers. Pivotal to this role – we will need for you to define “visually compelling” through leadership of staff and volunteer teams. Secondly, to stay on the forefront of video industry methodologies and maintain quality control within the discipline of broadcast video production organizationally.

JOB DUTIES:

Collaborate with CF Everywhere producers, production staff, and volunteers to create engaging broadcasts for weekend services and events
Conduct training with volunteer & contract video teams
Create and maintain training plans/modules for each video position: video directors, technical directors, camera operators, camera shader/engineer, and graphics operators
Coordinate and assist with broadcast equipment sets & strikes
Assist with the repair and maintenance of broadcast video systems
Maintain all video systems/workflows to clean, labeled, organized and updated states
Assist with the integration of new equipment upgrades/expansions
Look for opportunities to further develop your skill by attending conferences/trainings/trade shows

EDUCATION:

Undergraduate Degree

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES and/or REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Proven visual aesthetic – lens selection, shot composition, lighting & color grading
Intuitive musical aptitude - you know how to highlight what’s musically important at the right time
In depth knowledge of major manufacturer camera systems/lenses and their applications
Fluent with large format video switchers
Thorough operational knowledge of video/audio routers
Excellent understanding of the technical requirements needed to deliver broadcast video including all video formats, signal types and associated cabling

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of relevant experience
