We're seeking a passionate, Jesus loving person to join our Special Needs Team and serve others by providing an exceptional experience for all who are a part of our Special Needs Ministries.

The Special Needs Administrative Associate at Christ Fellowship gets to provide administrative support to the Special Needs Program Director, Special Needs volunteers, as well as special needs related activities and events. This is not your typical admin job – you’ll be working with individuals with special needs and all the unique aspects of this ministry. The individual we are looking for will need to have a serious love for details, heart to serve and ok with working solo at times – a comfort with horses is a plus.  You don’t need to be a loner, but we know this role will have quite a bit of computer work. This is a part-time hourly(non-exempt) position working 25 hours per week and needing someone who can work a flexible schedule (Saturday, some evenings and possibly some Sundays) and reports to the Special Needs Program Director.

We are looking for you to be:

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • CPR Certified

  • Experienced working with and caring for children, parents, volunteers affected by disabilities

  • Exceptionally organized with an administrative and creative mind – we run on Microsoft, checklists and deadlines

  • Strong communication abilities with a high capacity for multitasking – we work at warp speeds

  • Able to handle confidential matters and material with utmost excellence

You will be looking after:

  • Multiple aspects of looking after the Hand of Hope Center:

    • Administrative - reporting, calendaring, file keeping, form administration ensuring compliance

    • Hospitality – support with the planning and executing events, laundry/trash needs, maintenance/cleaning needs, volunteer registration, and working outside at times

  • The Center to make sure all materials and supplies are kept at necessary quantities

  • Tapping into your creative side and assisting with promotional creation

  • Any calls or emails that come into the ministry and verify questions are answered or help given

  • Database upkeep of all volunteers and participants – we can’t let anyone fall through the cracks

  • Overall assistance with annual/seasonal ministries

  • Assisting with most aspects of set-up, host, and clean-up of the following events: annual/seasonal events, shadow/buddy ministry, therapeutic riding, art and abilities, signing/deaf, prayer partners, Christmas Party, food outreach and fellowship, summer day camp, respite, access deeper, wheelchair ministry, etc.
