As a Senior Consultant – Integrated Merch Lead within the Commercial Insights & Loyalty (CIL) team you will be at the center of driving collaboration between Kroger, 84.51°, and our key supplier partners. Spanning all 84.51° commercial solutions, the IML role is responsible to work directly with Kroger Merch to support our internal 84.51° commercial account teams in their work with suppliers to link to/drive growth within Kroger Merch’s stated priorities. Success in this role will require consistent prioritization of opportunities, balancing multiple projects at once, strong Kroger stakeholder management, effective relationship development with 84.51° cross-functional teams, and strong attention to detail.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integrate with Kroger Edible Grocery merchandising team to ensure alignment to and acceleration of departmental priorities to drive growth via our suppliers
  • Collaborate with key Kroger stakeholders to develop Natural/Organic Departmental campaign; responsible to deliver against the initiative campaign budget, socialize the strategic plan, and support the commercial rollout
  • Support the Integrated Departmental Campaign owner in their coordination with Account Managers to enable them to sell the Integrated Campaigns to the CPG community
  • Work with Kroger to identify opportunities where additional insights are needed and work internally to coordinate delivery of Kroger-driven, multi-supplier projects
  • Work with our cross-functional partners, ensure our insights and activation deliverables include data driven story to deliver to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Learn from past campaigns and coordinate areas of improvement to be applied with remaining N&O campaigns as part of the annual planning process
  • Pro-active management and communication of opportunities in Salesforce to commercial leadership

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast paced environment that is a little unorthodox at times and will possess the following:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience: Category Management, Insights, Digital Media, or Loyalty Marketing
  • Direct knowledge and experience with digital media/marketing activation and/or CPG/Retail Insights spaces
  • Comfort operating in an ambiguous, dynamic environment
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Proven stakeholder management/influencing skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Strong business/commercial acumen
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage external clients
  • Tools and process acumen
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred but not required)
