About the Role:

We are looking for a Manager to join the Investor Operations Team. This role will focus on managing daily operations for financial institution and capital markets investors and will work closely with our account management, operations, product, and treasury teams to provide best in class service. The Investor Operations Team is part of the Investor Team based out of our San Francisco office and is responsible for daily operations, client service & account management, and providing data, reporting, and analytics to our whole loan purchasers. This role will report directly to the Head of Investor Operations.  

This is a hybrid role, in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays, reporting into the Head of Investor Operations in our San Francisco office.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Collaborate with the investor sales and onboarding teams to develop best-in-class investor experience and document investor operations procedures
  • Have direct oversight of various functions on the team including daily operations, investor reporting, portfolio reconciliation, and account management. 
  • Manage relationships with investors and third parties - be the primary point of contact and troubleshoot operational issues while working towards solutions
  • Manage the on-boarding of new investors including account opening and assist with a variety of activities related to the daily operations of investors
  • Reconcile loan activity to cash activity within investor portfolios and provide feedback to improve processes through reporting enhancements and automation
  • Work with product managers and engineers to ensure integrity of investor data reports, reconciliation, automation of investor reporting and timely customization of reports based on investor needs
  • Suggest improvements to existing systems and processes to drive quality, efficiency and enhance the customer experience

 

What We Look For:

  • 5+ years of experience at a consumer fintech lender, big 4 public accounting firm or financial institution (investment bank or asset manager); former CPA a plus
  • Comfortable analyzing large data sets and providing insights
  • Advanced in Excel, comfortable reading and writing queries in SQL (required)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and a strong client service orientation - this is a client facing role
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Good judgment and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Business-focused mindset with a demonstrated ability to take ownership and resolve issues with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and recognize and focus on critical issues
  • Flexibility to prioritize, balance and respond to competing needs within a growing organization 

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building dashboards using visualization tools such as Tableau

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $130,000 - $150,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
