Your Role:
At Tenable, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Customer Success Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in driving post-sales success and enhancing our customers' experience through your technical expertise. You'll work alongside Customer Success Managers and a talented team to set Tenable apart from the competition, build lasting customer relationships, and create enthusiastic advocates for our solutions.
Your Opportunity:
- Be a Subject Matter Expert: Become a trusted advisor in Cyber Exposure, Cloud, Vulnerability, and Risk Management for some of the world’s leading organisations.
- Solve Real Problems: Translate Tenable’s unique value and differentiators to address customer challenges and business needs during technical calls.
- Collaborate and Connect: Build robust connections with internal teams across Tenable, fostering knowledge sharing and teamwork.
- Drive Innovation: Influence product development and customer expectations, contributing to Tenable’s growth in the dynamic world of cyber exposure.
- Educate and Engage: Host and run webinars tailored to customer needs, keeping them informed and engaged with the latest trends.
What You'll Need:
- Effective Communicator: Confident in leading discussions with diverse roles at customer organisations, including non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability when running demos is key.
- Proactive Attitude: A self-starter with a determination to win and a collaborative spirit.
- Team Player: Strong teamwork skills are essential, as collaboration is at the heart of this role’s success.
- Technical Background: Experience in a security-related technical role, with the desire to upskill and adopt new technologies regularly.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed within your territory (approximately 10%).
And Ideally:
- Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of modern computing infrastructures like AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack.
- Network Security: Familiarity with Nessus and other network security technologies.
- Network Knowledge: Understanding of TCP/IP and network security concepts.
- System Experience: Experience with enterprise-class operating systems at the security admin level.
- DevOps Skills: Proficiency in Docker, DevOps, API scripting, and Python SDK.
- Compliance Standards: Familiarity with standards such as PCI, NIS2, DORA, and CIS.
- Educational Background: BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience (4+ years in a similar role).
