GLOBAL HEAD OF PRODUCT MARKETING

Opportunity:

The Global Head of Product Marketing is responsible for transmitting the company objectives, product strategy, and innovation roadmap into an effective commercial execution: delivering on end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) activities and initiatives to ensure adoption of services across key regions and focus areas. This role will require close collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver effective messaging/positioning, thought leadership content, and sales enablement tools to ensure the right value proposition lands with the right audience to accelerate adoption of RIMES services.

 

This position is reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer.

 

What you will do:

  • Orchestrate the overall product marketing strategy – which takes on board the company objectives, product strategy, and innovation roadmap and turns this into a consistent programme of commercial activity across domains (MDS / Reg) with a defined and measurable target MROI
  • Coordinate a Campaign approach – calendar and “playbook” that ensure that the right value proposition lands with the right audience at the right time
  • Ensure a high quality execution of the Campaign strategy – inc. high level message; why and when; product; collateral; TAM / SAM; targets at name level; tracking
  • Oversee the foundational product marketing deliverables such as strategy playbooks, messaging collateral, dedicated website content, data sheets, white papers, webcast content, presentations and thought leadership content
  • Orchestrate a cadence of quarterly seasonal releases to “bang the drum” on innovation based on a clear innovation comm’s roadmap
  • Maintain an appropriate market segmentation for RIMES prospect universe (e.g., large EU AM; small US AM; Sovereign Wealth; Pensions) and a set of personas
  • Ensure RIMES customer value proposition is tailored in such a way that it is compelling to each target audience (by segment)
  • Develop a rich understanding of the market, analysing customer, competitor and market trends (inc win / loss) in intricate detail, and gleaning insight that is powerful and compelling
  • Lead the creation of exciting, innovative product launch plans, fuelled with storytelling and customer references for RIMES that are fully synchronised with business and revenue goals and ensure effective and ongoing relevancy in the market to drive demand generation and pipeline
  • Act as a key contact for the marketing organization to provide content, customer insights and feedback as they create innovative marketing campaigns, SEO, web design persona development and target marketing refinements to build pipeline
  • Own the co-marketing approach with partners (e.g., MSCI)
  • Partner with Product Management to incorporate key functionality and benefits into core product marketing message
  • Global ambassador of RIMES, contribute to exceptional RIMES content and thought leadership

 

Who you are:

  • Strong knowledge of the data management requirements of the investment management sector, and the needs and challenges faced by customers and competitors in the space
  • Exceptional skills in leading people with influence across a global team with a complex matrix and processes
  • Experience launching new technology products to disrupt markets through innovative ideas balanced with market research
  • Experience/familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle
  • Thrives when working in a matrix environment, where colleagues need to be supported, driven, influenced to deliver even bigger results
  • Proven creative thinker that independently generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas. Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English and ability to work across business lines, presenting to executive leadership and at different levels of management. Proven speaker comfortable in large audiences
  • Effective strategic leader and tactical executer
