The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Sr. Manager, Client Sales & Service:

The Ticketing department is responsible for developing a robust Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Ticket Operations strategy for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This encompasses maximizing revenue through sold-out and fully attended events, while ensuring accessible pricing and broad access to the General Public.

Reporting to the Head of Ticketing Strategy & Operations for LA28, the Sr. Manager Client Sales & Service will serve as the strategic engagement leader for our Key Stakeholders assisting with the development of their ticketing programs, management of the Client Ticket Portal, development of Stakeholder and General Public Ticketing Guides, and sourcing added value revenue opportunities. They will also oversee the service strategy for the General Public.

In addition, this position will be responsible for collaborating with Hospitality, Accommodations, and Partnership functional areas to align on stakeholder engagement strategies and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Ticket Strategy Development

  • Define and develop Public Ticketing Guides
  • Collaborate, create, and distribute Stakeholder and Public Newsletter
  • Work with the Director of Ticket Marketing to develop key communications strategy, including ticketing objectives and mission statement
  • Lead production of ticket sales guides inclusive of look and feel, key ticket information (e.g., pricing maps, competition schedule, etc.), rules and regulations and overall view for games ticketing process
  • Help align ticketing, accommodations, and hospitality overall engagement strategy
  • Drive group sales opportunities for Olympic & Paralympic Games
  • Manage quota of ticket allotment within the seating bowl to maximize general public sales inventory

Stakeholders

  • Manage all communications with stakeholders as it relates to ticketing in coordination with internal stakeholder owners (e.g., Sport, Partnerships, NOC Services, etc.)
  • Consult and manage Stakeholder ticket allocation request
  • Develop stakeholder service level documents and framework, including terms and conditions, return policy, and other key rules for stakeholder ticketing
  • Deliver stakeholder ticketing sales plan and timeline
  • Work with finance to determine payment process and methods for stakeholders
  • Develop Stakeholder Ticket Sales Guides
  • Oversee development, execution, and analysis of Stakeholder needs assessment survey
  • Proactively resource opportunities for Stakeholder engagement with community partners
  • Facilitate a community ticket program that promotes accessibility for Host cities, Venue cities, and wider Los Angeles community

Client Ticket Portal

  • Work with LA28 ticketing partner on functionality of Stakeholders design needs and ticket delivery
  • Oversee all stakeholder engagement with Client Ticket Portal, including training, servicing, registration, etc.
  • Provide inputs on quota & allocation development process
  • Enforce rules & regulation requirements for ticket usage & invoice installments

Background & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce Preferred)
  • Proven success growing revenue in ticketing
  • Sales & Service training
  • Professional sports background preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues
  • Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)
  • Previous experience managing a team

The annual base salary range for this position is $$115,000.00 - $130,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
