Senior Associate, Commercial Hospitality Operations Integration
The LA28 Commercial Hospitality team is leading a think-different approach to modernizing the Olympic and Paralympic hospitality experience for stakeholders and fans through unparalleled access to VIP, once-in-a-lifetime packages. In partnership with On Location, LA28’s Official Hospitality Provider, the Commercial Hospitality team is responsible for creating a robust and integrated commercial hospitality strategy that supports our key stakeholders and operational needs while securing a key revenue stream for LA28.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Hospitality, the Senior Associate of Commercial Hospitality Operations Integration will be responsible for supporting all operational and event production planning for LA28 Hospitality in partnership with On Location. They will assist in the creation, planning, and execution of the integrated operations and event production for all hospitality programs ensuring feasibility for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Additionally, this role will liaise between internal departments, external stakeholders, partners, and others to develop and implement the hospitality operations for the Games.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of work in event production at large-scale events while considering operational complexities to ensure objectives are met and contributing to commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational & Event Production Coordination
- Work with key LA28 Functional Areas (FAs) and On Location to identify all in-venue and off-venue hospitality spaces, creating detailed operational requirements
- Assist in the development of operational readiness and delivery plans for hospitality across all venues, validating maps & plans, drawings, staffing plans, etc.
- Provide guidance, input, and oversight of all front and back of house spaces for hospitality
- Support and maintain a detailed project timeline for event production across internal and external stakeholders and deliverables
- Coordinate clear communication, project management, and integration between On Location and LA28
- Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive hospitality operations model for the hospitality business plan
- Assist in the cluster and venue hospitality management during Games time
- Provide seamless experiences for all Hospitality attendees
Commercial Success
- Support development of Hospitality Space Agreement, driving consensus on cost and responsibility matrices
- Support the creation of programs tailored to key stakeholders including partners, IOC/IPC, federations and others
- Assist with opportunities for monetization of LA28 assets (new and existing) through hospitality
- Work with On Location and key FAs to identify and deliver key assets for the hospitality program to support commercial and operational needs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Establish close working relationships with key operational functional areas such as Security and Transportation, to ensure revenue maximization while supporting the overall Games operational and strategic plan
- Liaise with LA28 and On Location Event Production Teams to develop and deliver updates and recaps in a timely manner
- Work with the IOC and IPC to understand all hospitality operational requirements
Background & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with experience in the sport or live event industry
- Games experience a plus
- Event Production experience and/or Venue Coordination experience preferred
- Proven experience with event hospitality and ticketing
- Impeccable customer-service attitude, even when under pressure
- Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and proven success at building excellent working relationships

The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
