About The Role
We are looking for a chatbot developer to build, test, and scale chatbots in numerous e-commerce settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in chatbot development, and possibly some chatbot coding experience (DialogFlow, ChatScript, Python, etc.). Candidates with experience or interest in conversational UI are strongly encouraged to apply, as are candidates with NLP or linguistics experience. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate aptitude in both technical ability and copywriting, reflecting both sides of chatbot development.
Duties and Responsibilities
Create conversion-based chatbots, with a special focus on bot throughput, accuracy, and persuasiveness
Craft bot-building strategies and become an evangelist for internal bot-building tools
Help test multiple customer-facing bots across diverse user contexts
Take data-driven approaches to bot development based on millions of unique monthly chatbot conversations spanning 10+ verticals
Work together with funnel, customer service, UX, and DevOps teams to maximize conversions while ensuring brand continuity
