About The Role
As a Senior Front-end Developer at JustAnswer, you'll be at the forefront of our software engineering efforts, driving the development of cutting-edge front-end technologies to enhance the digital experiences of millions of users worldwide. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to ensure high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions. From implementing complex features to optimizing front-end performance, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our platform's user interface and experience.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain Applications, utilizing your expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React/Redux.
- Implement bundling techniques to optimize front-end performance and enhance user experience.
- Integrate with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) to optimize resource bandwidth and improve platform scalability.
- Implement A/B testing strategies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in user experience.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within the software engineering department to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Test front-end components at different levels including unit, integration, and end to end, ensuring robustness and reliability.
- Utilize front-end monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, or Datadog to troubleshoot errors and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and best practices, contributing to the evolution of our development processes and methodologies.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React/Redux.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS and familiarity with functional/OOP concepts and paradigms.
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure or AWS, and knowledge of CI/CD processes and best practices.
- Understanding of Content Delivery Systems (CDNs) like Cloudflare.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or Datadog.
- Experience testing front-end components at different levels (unit, integration, end to end).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Additional skills such as Azure DevOps knowledge, Docker/Kubernetes experience, and familiarity with micro front-ends/monorepo approach are considered a plus.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
