About the Role:

Industrious is building a range of products and services that solve the needs of large commercial landlords. One such product is to deliver event programming and manage amenities for the office tenants of entire buildings, in partnership with the building landlord. This is a critical part of our longer-term competitive strategy, and an important product for a different kind of customer.

Industrious has partnered with a landlord to manage the end-to-end hospitality and amenities experience for one of their flagship buildings. The Building Amenity Manager, Tenant Experience will be the primary point of contact for the entire building, overseeing all staff for the conferencing center and events, while working collaboratively with the operators for the fitness and F&B offerings as well as property management and all tenant-facing staff throughout the building.

You’ll have a hand in strategy, operations, sales, marketing, and finance in order to lead the continued growth and success of this business. You’ll build and develop a team that delivers best-in-class customer experience and runs a seamless operation. Once fully staffed, we anticipate this will be a 5-7 person team. You’ll not only expertly navigate and manage our relationships with key stakeholders, but you will drive innovation and collaboration with these partners and set a new standard for how Industrious delivers tenant experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build a strong bond with all partners involved through proactive communication and on-site relationship building
  • Hire and nurture great talent
  • Build a strong team rooted in customer service and operations
  • Effectively lead and manage a team while adapting to the changes and evolving responsibilities of the position and building
  • Maintain awareness and build processes for how campus products work with one another - conferencing, food & beverage, fitness, and events
  • Drive end to end business planning for the building’s program, including budgeting & regular reporting
  • Support Sr/ Program Manager in training and quality assurance across portfolio,
  • Sell & manage conferencing & events to internal tenants
  • Maintain a High Standard of Customer Service
  • Resolve escalated member issues effectively
  • Drive Operational & P&L Performance
  • Act as a property brand ambassador
  • Facilitating outstanding customer service
  • Work collaboratively with property management team to deliver great outcomes for tenants
  • Management of local vendors
  • Build strong bonds with members based on a genuine understanding of their business and needs

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of work experience in hospitality, customer service, corporate events or program management
  • Direct experience with executing events and conferencing
  • Proven ability to operate effectively and independently in highly ambiguous environments that lack structure, processes, systems, or best practices
  • Experience translating ambiguous responsibilities into detailed, concrete project plans; experience executing efficiently against set project plans
  • Ability to connect well with people; warm and approachable
  • Enjoys continuous change and improvement
  • High hustle quotient: willing to get your hands dirty as necessary to move fast and get things done
  • Experience working in a metrics-based management culture
  • Ability to comfortably lead difficult conversations, including with external stakeholders & executives
  • Knowledgeable about the commercial real estate industry
  • Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences
