About the Role

As the Senior Manager of Content Strategy at Industrious, you will be responsible for driving business results by developing and executing a content strategy for existing and prospective members that is rooted in our Industrious brand and reflective of our tone of voice. Collaborating closely with our Creative and G2M Strategy Directors, you will ensure alignment with our brand position and vision, taking a hands-on approach in crafting and executing content strategies. This role requires a blend of leadership and hands-on involvement, overseeing the development of a scalable content strategy while actively contributing to ideation, creation, and execution. We expect you to accomplish all of these goals by both hiring and contracting new content creators while picking up some of the tasks yourself whenever required. 

Visibility within our offices and active engagement with our teams and community are essential aspects of this role, requiring in-person presence 2-3 days a week. Mastery of editorial, video, and audio formats is expected, with a focus on effectively matching the medium to the message to achieve desired outcomes.

As a key leader in our growing Content team, you will work closely with the existing Content Manager to shape the future direction of our content strategy. Success in this role hinges on your ability to swiftly embrace the Industrious brand and develop communication strategies that embody our key brand attributes—warmth, joy, intelligence, and sophistication—while building a dynamic content engine to support our rapidly expanding business.

Key Responsibilities: 

Content Strategy Development: 

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals, emphasizing the creation of engaging, high-quality content to attract, retain, and grow target audiences.
    • Conduct thorough market research and audience analysis to identify industry trends and customer pain points, guiding content planning and optimization efforts.

Content Creation & GTM Campaign Management:

    • Lead the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation to distribution, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and audience preferences.
    • Drive Go-To-Market (GTM) campaigns, integrating content across various channels including paid media, email, and influencer partnerships to maximize brand exposure and awareness.

Customer Champion Engagement:

    • Foster relationships with customer champions and industry influencers, leveraging their insights to inform content strategy and create tailored content that resonates with target audiences.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

    • Monitor content performance metrics using analytics tools, analyzing traffic, engagement, and conversion rates to identify optimization opportunities.
    • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to refine messaging and enhance user experience, driving organic growth and improving brand visibility.

Job Requirements: 

    • 7+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or related fields, with a focus on go-to-market campaigns, content marketing, and brand building.
    • Experience in written, visual, and audio formats and look at content strategy as multi-medium strategies rather than medium-specific
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Ahrefs and Google Analytics for tracking and measuring content performance.
    • Experience with Content Management Systems like WordPress, Sprout or HubSpot.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
    • Demonstrated expertise in content strategy development, including audience segmentation and campaign optimization.
    • Comfortable working with remote teams and proficient in using various operating systems and communication tools.


The annual base compensation range for this role is between $120,000 - $130,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.

You will also be eligible for an annual bonus calculated based on individual and company performance.
