About the Role:

As the HR Manager in Europe, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and driving HR initiatives that align with our company’s goals. You’ll be responsible for managing the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with local regulations and shaping our company culture. This role will be based in London and provide support to our team across the UK and all of Europe.

Industrious’ business in Europe is only 2 years old and poised for huge growth in the coming years. This will be our first full-time HR employee in Europe, and accordingly, we need a stellar jack/jill-of-all-trades in the role. In the day-to-day, you’ll be pivoting from setting our strategic course of HR priorities in Europe to handling the administrative work that keeps things running. You’ll report to our global HR leader (based in the US) and be responsible for what global programming applies to Europe and how best to roll it out. You’ll have a dotted line reporting structure into Europe leadership and partner closely with them on strategic priorities for the region.

About the ideal candidate: You are flexible, not afraid to get your hands dirty, and can easily pivot from smaller administrative tasks to more strategic work. You enjoy caring for our people and are ready to be an ambassador of our company culture. You are comfortable working with employees at all levels of the organization. You love to assess people's needs and make recommendations for appropriate solutions. You are excited by the opportunity to build out new programs and roll out initiatives.

When things are at their most chaotic, that’s when you’re at your best -- sifting through the ambiguity, being the calm voice in the room, and helping managers across the organization come to great solutions.
