Job Description
Position: FP&A Analyst
Location: Mexico City
Reports to: Head of FP&A.

We are seeking a seasoned M&A Lead to join our dynamic team and drive our strategic in-organic growth initiatives.  

Role Overview:
This role will help expand the current capacity of the FP&A team, which has been taking on more scope as the company grows. With increasing responsibilities, the team needs additional support, particularly with operational tasks and documentation
The FP&A Analyst will contribute by handling these tasks, allowing the team to continue focusing on high-value activities that drive data-driven strategic decisions

Key Responsibilities: 

    • Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 
    • Handle operational tasks such as database management, process automation, and documentation. 
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making. 
    • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reviews. 
    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities by analyzing financial and operational data. 
    • Improve processes by automating routine tasks and ensuring data integrity across systems. 
    • Provide ad hoc analysis and support for strategic projects as needed. 

Qualifications: 

    • 1+ year of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role. 
    • Proficiency in Excel. 
    • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools is a plus. 
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage large data sets and translate them into actionable insights. 
    • Knowledge in accounting principles and financial statements.
