Position Overview

The Administrative Coordinator is team-oriented, tech-savvy, and attentive to detail. You are an integral member of the Hillel Ontario Operations Team, which supports the organization’s infrastructure. Your responsibilities include general office management, IT management, coordinating event and program logistics, and supporting the organization’s culture.  The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Manager of Operations and Human Resources.

What You'll Do

  • General office management; including supply ordering, filing, organizing storage, responding to general inquiries via email and phone, general support for the Operations Team and the CEO;
  • Assistance with event planning and management, including organization of food orders, hotels, transportation for staff, etc
  • IT management; including data entry and Google Suite administration;
  • Financial management; including assisting the Operations team with day-to-day banking, processing payables/receivables, issuing payment, etc
  • Maintain records of personnel data including staff birthdays and contact info;
  • Research projects as needed

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 1-2 years administrative experience
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Experience working with Google Suite
  • Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot effectively
  • Take direction and feedback well
