Summary

Who you will report to: Thomas Vieten - Key Account Manager
Type: Full-time
Location: Berlin with remote options
Team: Mass Retail

 

Your daily tasks will include:

  • You are responsible for building up business and acquiring new customers in the food retail and drugstore channels in France/ Benelux

  • You maintain relationships with national (and regional) buyers of new customers as well as existing customers

  • Opening up new accounts independently and you are responsible for the presentation and listing of our (new) products in the field of functional food and sports nutrition

  • Responsibility for the listing of products and take over the coordination together with our office staff

  • You focus on budget responsibility and product range control as well as analysis and monitoring of developments in the market

  • Developing new strategies for France/ Benelux, drive the two sales channels proactively and you are responsible for the operational implementation

  • With your eye for trends and customer requests, you take care of the implementation of the promotions and develop customer-specific formats that ensure sustainable growth with our customers

  • Being in close contact with our internal teams such as Brand, R&D, procurement, sales inside etc.

  

What we are looking for:

  • Completed degree in economics, preferably with a focus on sales / marketing

  • 2 - 5 years of relevant professional experience in key account management (category management is an advantage) of an international FMCG company

  • You are an expert of the retail landscape in France/ Benelux and ideally you already have contacts at decision-maker level in retail

  • A charismatic and powerful personality with experience in the brokerage of FMCG products

  • You like to approach people, are communicative and on top super organized and structured

  • A comprehensive wealth of experience in sales methods such as presentation, moderation and negotiation methods / techniques

  • You can motivate yourself and pull together with everyone

  • You work hands-on and there is no problem for which you cannot find a solution

  • You are already very reflective through exciting experiences in life and know yourself and your strengths and weaknesses well

  • Pronounced analytical skills with high quality standards

  • We require very good English language skills. Native French
