Responsibilities
- Provide cloud operations engineering and administration support to provide and maintain customer access to shared computing resources and data in Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
- Perform cloud account/project provisioning procedures in accordance with scripts and SOPs, coordinating with customers and other IT teams
- Resolve end-user login / access / usage issues and update support ticket status
- Develop and maintain custom scripts and SOPs to automate repetitive tasks and improve consistency in operations and maintenance activities
- Deploy approved release packages and break-fix solutions in accordance with all enterprise architecture and configuration, change, and release management policies and procedures
- Assist in the design and implementation of Microsoft Active Directory and windows-based systems across the enterprise, including identity and management solutions.
- Review and assess network and systems performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues as required
- Respond to after-hours alerts and incidents provided by internal and external information operations and security support as directed. Occasionally perform production-level changes after 7:00 PM ET or on weekends.
Qualifications
- Five (5) years’ experience in information technology; three (3) years performing systems administration/engineering or related functions in an enterprise environment.
- 2 years experience performing Active Directory administration
- 2 years experience performing systems engineering/administration in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- Must meet all requirements for obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years experience in system engineering/administration of at least one operating system: Windows, RedHat Linux, Ubuntu.
- 2 years Experience with Microsoft Azure AD, ADFS, policy configuration, MS Azure Technologies, and Single Sign on capabilities.
- Proven Experience in automation using (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
- Experience with troubleshooting in networking and web standards such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, ASP.NET, web security mechanisms. (TLS/SSL), proxies, firewalls & application delivery controllers/load balancers.
- In-depth understanding of and extensive experience with windows, windows security (NTFS), Active Directory, common networking (e.g., DNS, DHCP, DFS, PKI), authentication, encryption, SSL/TLS.
