Technology Asset Manager - Enterprise Technology
About the Role:
The Deliveroo Enterprise Technology team conceives, designs, builds and sustains the IT services powering Deliveroo’s internal teams globally, as we transform the way customers eat. We continually drive service improvements and love to automate everything we can on our journey towards customer delight.
As a Technology Asset Manager you will be responsible for defining and documenting our Technology Asset Management lifecycle. You will also be responsible for ensuring we are tracking, managing and reporting on all Enterprise Technology assets.
You will work closely with colleagues within Enterprise Technology (ET) including Workplace Technology, Operations and with partners outside of ET to ensure all assets are recorded, tracked and maintained in accordance with Asset Management policy.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Define, document and implement Strategy, Policy and Process for Technology Asset Management in Enterprise Technology.
- Taking a proactive approach to Technology Asset Management including creating and delivering the Technology Asset Management roadmap.
- Analysing and optimising the purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilisation, and disposal of Technology Assets within Deliveroo.
- Governing and assuring the end-to-end Technology Asset Management lifecycle.
- Ensuring licences no longer required are reclaimed/recycled and where possible reducing licensing commitment with vendors
- Identifying, reporting on and managing risks within the Technology Asset Management landscape.
- Utilising the Technology Asset Management toolset in order to support managing software & hardware assets, ensuring assets are assigned and managed within Deliveroo policy.
- Building and presenting dashboards and reporting of all key metrics within the ET Technology Asset Management’s scope. All reporting should be in live dashboards, allowing self service.
- Collaborating with and influencing colleagues and teams outside of your direct control, to ensure Technology Asset Management policies and processes are adhered to.
- Support any Technology Asset Management audit activity both internally and externally.
- Tracking spend against Software and Hardware related POs, ensuring spend is in line with approved budget, highlighting where spend is tracking higher than budget and raising new POs when needed, with relevant approval.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of Technology Asset Management standards.

- Comfortable communicating the right level of detail with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong experience of building and maintaining reporting dashboards.
- A methodical and logical approach to problem solving with a sense of ownership
- Driven, Autonomous, self-starter without requiring close supervision, collaborative, comfortable adapting to change and learning quickly in a dynamic organisation.
- Be highly organised and able to manage workload effectively. Strong communication skills at all levels within the organisation.
- Understanding of ITIL / Service Management
- Experience of utilising ITSM tooling (e.g ServiceNow) for Asset Management.
- Building automated dashboards with DataStudio (or similar), integrated with target systems.
- Experience creating and implementing Technology Asset Management Policy, Process and Strategy.
- Operational Supplier Management experience.
