About Cleo

Most people come to Cleo to do work that matters. Every day, we fight for the world’s financial health, building a beloved AI that empowers people to make better financial decisions.

Backed by some of the most well-known investors in tech, we’ve reached over 4 million users and plan to double that number each year...which is where you come in.

What you’ll be doing

As Cleo grows rapidly, builds new products, and onboards more and more users, you will take the lead on ensuring that our payments platform is able to efficiently support all the new growth.

You will be the lead product analyst in our payments team, which is responsible for building and supporting the entirety of Cleo’s payments infrastructure platform. We believe in a data-led strategy and you will be playing an instrumental role in defining and prioritising the team’s long term and short term roadmaps to build a best-in-class payments processing engine. You will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor other analysts within the team.

You will help define and own the key metrics which measure the efficiency of our payments engine. Using these metrics, you will identify opportunities to optimise when and how we take payments while balancing revenue and the cost of payments. You will have the opportunity to work with third party payment processors alongside our partnerships team.

You’ll also sit within the wider data function here at Cleo; a hotshot team of 20 Product Analysts, Analytic Engineers, and Data Scientists with significant industry experience that are at the heart of everything we do at Cleo. You’ll have the opportunity to work with them in building the data platform that is the engine of Cleo’s growth.

We are looking for a self-starter, focused on results, with demonstrated success in utilising analytical insight to optimise payments processes.
