The Team:

The Strategy & Operations team is a crucial part of Celonis’s top-line growth, providing analytical & execution support to the company’s Sales and Sales Support functions. The team is responsible for a variety of duties in strategic planning, sales operations, finance, and business analytics – requiring a mix of strategy, go-to-market design, market analysis, sales optimization and programs, and business operational support.

The Role:

As a member of the EMEA Strategy & Operations Team you will play a key role in driving the success of our Go-to-Market (GTM) organization. You will act as a Business Partner to EMEA Sales leadership and support driving and executing our business growth strategies in respective regions. Sample projects range from highly strategic to operational including evaluating market opportunities, business planning, process optimization and regular review of key performance metrics. The role requires interaction with various areas of the organization and provides exposure to senior executives. You will be working closely with the leadership of other GTM functions (e.g. Value Engineering, Business Development), but also stakeholders from other Celonis departments like Marketing, Process & Tools, Analytics, Finance, etc. The role combines business understanding, data analysis, strategic thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and cross-team collaboration to support the Sales Leadership in managing their business successfully.

The work you’ll do:

  • Support the annual EMEA GTM planning process, including market evaluation, organizational design, sales territory building and target setting
  • Run Regional sales forecast, pipeline management & demand generation as well as end-to-end business review governances
  • Drive strategic projects into the execution phase by partnering with teams across the organization
  • Provide data-driven analysis and actionable insights or recommendations for business improvement 
  • Manage internal communications / relationships within your region or for your projects

The qualifications you need:

  • BSc/MSc/MBA degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-3+ years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business analytics, or similar (preferably within the SaaS industry).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and work efficiently and independently in a high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, and results-oriented environment.
  • Very strong communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and part of international teams
  • Proficient experience with MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, additional language is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM system is a plus
