The Team:

As a member of the Engineering organization, the Product Analytics & Data Sciences team provides analytic support and a strategic perspective to the product and engineering teams in addition to delivering a product perspective to the entire organization, thereby enabling them to make evidence-based decisions. We deliver actionable insights by collecting, organizing and interpreting data about user journeys, product telemetry, incidents, infrastructure utilization, sales motions, and much more. We transform data into analytic assets by conducting exploratory analysis, identifying outliers, validating hypotheses, building statistical models, quantifying risk; communicating findings through well crafted stories and critical recommendations. 

The Role:

As an Analytics Strategy Lead in the dynamic Product Analytics & Data Sciences team, you will be instrumental in defining and executing initiatives that build a robust analytic infrastructure, generate actionable insights, and optimize decision-making processes. In this high-impact role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business objectives, translate them into analytic requirements, and guide the implementation and execution of analytic projects. In addition to playing a key role in the definition and creation of the analytic infrastructure, you will also facilitate data-driven discussions among stakeholders across the organization, leveraging effective storytelling to convey meaningful insights.

The work you’ll do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and drive data analytics strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring the creation of a scalable and efficient analytic infrastructure.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, finance and GTM teams to understand business objectives and translate them into detailed analytic requirements.
  • Program management: Lead the development and execution of analytic projects to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business needs. Monitor and analyze key metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness of analytics initiatives, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Product telemetry: Work with the product and engineering teams to identify necessary signals to support downstream analytics and establish processes to ensure appropriate product telemetry is planned and delivered. 
  • Data Governance: Establish data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and security within analytic projects. Promote best practices for data management and compliance across the organization, collaborating with the Legal team to ensure adherence to these policies.
  • Facilitation and Advocacy: Promote data-driven discussions and decision-making across the organization, acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Insight delivery:  Establish and run regular cadence meetings to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously enhancing the organization’s analytics capabilities.

The qualifications you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a strong focus on Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.. Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years relevant experience as an Data Product Manager / Product Strategy Manager or similar, developing and implementing data analytics strategies preferably within a B2B enterprise product company. 
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and techniques, including data modeling, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization. Familiarity with software such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI. 
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects, and drive initiatives that align with strategic goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights through effective storytelling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building relationships and facilitating collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
  • Eager to work in a fast-growing organization with diverse and international teams spread across multiple locations.
