The Team

Our Marketing team seeks an exceptional leader to spearhead our marketing analytics and insights, directly reporting to the Snr Director of Marketing Strategy and Operations. The Head of Marketing Analytics and Insights will be instrumental in guiding our marketing efforts, with a special focus on analytics and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about leveraging analytics to drive marketing excellence and business outcomes.

The Role

As the Head of Marketing Analytics and Insights, you will lead the impact steering of our marketing insights, focusing on building & maintaining an end to end, robust analytics platform. You will be responsible for setting marketing targets, driving strategic insights, and ensuring our analytics platform supports full funnel use cases. Your leadership will ensure we leverage data-driven insights to guide our marketing efforts, aligning them with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Analytics Platform Development: Lead the development and maintenance of a strong analytics platform, utilizing tools such as SFDC, AWS and Power BI, to support state-of-the-art full funnel marketing use cases. Ensure the platform delivers actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the marketing function.  
  • Insights Generation: Translate data into actionable insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making. Provide regular reports and dashboards on key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing ROI. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Hygiene and funnel measurement: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. Own attribution and scoring models. Implement advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, segmentation, and attribution analysis.
  • Market insights: Generate and leverage market insights to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics. Own TAM and use it to guide strategic business decisions. Create benchmarks and factor into business analysis to give a complete picture of our performance within the market. 
  • Target Setting: Own marketing KPIs, target setting and performance monitoring. Define and establish clear marketing targets that align with our business objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes for all marketing initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with marketing, sales, product, and finance teams to align on goals and share insights. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Collaborate with external partners and vendors for data acquisition and technology solutions.
  • Optimization and Innovation: Drive continuous improvement in marketing analytics processes and methodologies. Stay current with industry trends, AI, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing analytics.Identify and implement new tools and platforms to enhance data capabilities.
  • Leadership: Build, manage and mentor the marketing analytics insights team, fostering a data-driven, collaborative, and continuous improvement culture across the marketing organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of team and senior stakeholder management, in a Global role.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of related experience in B2B marketing or consulting at the executive leadership level.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining marketing analytics platforms, with expertise in tools like SFDC, AWS and Power BI. Interested in leverageraging AI. 
  • Deep understanding of business and financial principles, market trends, and business drivers in the B2B technology sector.
  • Strong technical proficiency in marketing analytics development, funnel hygiene, sprint methodologies, and reporting.
  • Proven track record of driving business results through data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
