Amplitude is looking for a Sales Development Manager here in our San Francisco office. This person will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Inbound and Outbound Sales Development Reps to meet and exceed goals through outbound activity from calls and email campaigns, pipeline, and bookings. Our SDR team’s primary function is to fuel pipeline to our Account Executive team.
The ideal candidate for the Sales Development Manager must have a passion for coaching, a proven track record of mentoring teams that have been successful breaking into Enterprise accounts, and understands how to create a tangible path for career advancement. Amplitude needs a seasoned manager who can not only up-level the team but also understands the nuances of a sales cycle to be able to enhance the performance and skills of the Sales Development team.
Manage Sales Development Team to goals, objectives, and quota achievement
Provide SDR team with proper coaching to break into Enterprise accounts
Build and refine sales lead processes and metrics to help propel Amplitude’s growth
Work closely with Account Executive team to ensure a positive working relationship and maximize effectiveness of sales development team
Work with Marketing to increase lead generation and align on campaign execution
Ensure SDR team is successful by removing roadblocks
Conduct weekly forecasts
2-3 years management experience in Sales Development, preferably in the SaaS space that sells a complex solution
Previous experience in a closing capacity is a must
Salesforce experience is a must
Proven track record of mentoring a team that has successfully broken into Enterprise accounts
Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to interact with all levels of management within different departments including sales, marketing, and customer success.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work on-site at our HQ is San Francisco, CA
