As the Manager of the Enterprise Solutions Consulting Team, you will help coach and mentor our world-class team of SCs to support our Sales Team to meet and exceed our revenue targets. You will support your team to execute winning strategies to position Amplitude’s value in the hearts and minds of our prospects. 

This is a “hands on” role. Ideal candidates must be ready to perform demonstrations to executives, drive urgency to secure the technical win and build relationships with technical stakeholders. They must “lead from the front”. To be successful in this role, you must be directly involved in opportunity strategy and execution.

 As a Solutions Consulting Manager - East, you will: 

  • Lead from the front. You will be expected to lead demonstrations to executives, remove barriers to achieving the technical win and own the performance of the team.
  • Help us meet or exceed our revenue targets.
  • Coach and develop a team of high performance Solutions Consultants.
  • Be an excellent recruiter. 
  • Articulate a deep understanding of Amplitude technology to prospect and customer audiences, from the C-suite to Dept Heads to Engineering, removing obstacles and delivering differentiated technical and business value propositions and proof points to customers
  • Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Travel to customer on-sites to deliver demos and presentations to build strong customer relationships

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have: 

  • 3+ years managing a Pre-Sales solutions team
  • 3+ years of individual contributor Pre-Sales experience in a customer-facing role
  • Prior experience with analytics, business intelligence, experimentation, DMPs and/or CDPs is a must
  • A track record of displaying Amplitude’s core values: ownership, humility and growth mindset
  • Passion for encouraging individual development and learning through clear feedback, equitable & inclusive processes, and hands-on management techniques
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • An appetite for self-improvement, encouraging team growth, and seeking new information
  • Ability to travel to help our prospects (up to 30%)
