About The Role & Team

Embark on an exciting journey with Amplitude as a Senior Director, Finance & Strategy! We are actively seeking an individual with a passion for data and analytics. Collaborating closely with our GTM leaders, including our CRO, CMO, and SVP of Strategy & Operations, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our GTM strategy and guiding our investments.

As a Senior Director, Finance & Strategy, you will:

  • Be the go-to person for our GTM Leadership Team, translating visionary ambitions into actionable, financially sound strategies.

  • Go beyond traditional accounting. Steer our budgets and forecasts as though you're actively shaping the future.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced finance degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic finance, financial planning & analysis, or related roles, preferably within SaaS or technology companies.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with GTM teams, showcasing your ability to collaborate effectively with our dynamic GTM team.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills, coupled with proficiency in SaaS metrics, financial systems, and tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to convey complex financial concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Leadership skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
