About the Role and Team

Solutions Architect will be responsible for owning and building a world-class financial systems ecosystem. This role will play an integral part in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Company's financial systems related to accounting, finance, legal and financial operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the evaluation of our current systems and the assessment of new potential software decisions
  • Should possess in-depth expertise in Quote to Cash and Procure to Pay processes, including order management, invoicing, and revenue recognition, coupled with comprehensive proficiency in Accounts Receivable management and billing procedures to ensure efficient cash flow and financial operations
  • Provide expertise, functional/technical support, administration, and maintenance of all internal accounting systems - currently NetSuite, Zip, Floqast, Tipalti, Stripe, Navan, Salto, Veza & Ironclad
  • Proficient in SuiteScript with hands-on experience, capable of executing back-end customizations to tailor solutions.
  • Ability to effectively translate functional and business requirements into technical solutions, bridging the gap between user needs and system capabilities.
  • Exhibits a passion for achieving high performance standards and a commitment to continuous improvement, driving optimization efforts for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with end-users and various teams to create solutions that will improve current system functionality
  • Develop and document long term strategic direction for the tooling and automations to support our scaling accounting teams
  • Implement and maintain processes, checks, and controls around data integrity, accuracy, and completeness between various internal systems
  • Develop, implement, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, third party tools / applications, and new NetSuite functionality based on evolving business needs
  • Architecting and tuning integrations (with products like Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato or Snaplogic)
  • Responsible for the change management and release process of any new system functionality (inclusive of NetSuite)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e., accounting, finance, legal & procurement) to gather and document operational and functional requirements and translate requirements into operational solutions
  • Resolve system issues, administer user accounts and permissions, and provide system training and support to all users

You'd be a great fit for the role if you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting Systems
  • Prior experience implementing ERP preferably NetSuite 
  • Experience administering and modifying ERP software in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
  • Rich Experience with NetSuite ERP including NetSuite ARM 
  • Preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in Zip, FloQast, Salto, Stripe, Celigo & Salesforce
  • An excellent understanding of standard business practices related to accounting & finance
  • A strong work ethic to solve problems, accomplish objectives, and meet deadlines
