Who we are

Established in 2017, Wayve is a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, driven by breakthroughs in Embodied AI. Our intelligent, mapless, and hardware-agnostic technologies empower vehicles to navigate complex environments effortlessly.

Supported by prominent investors, Wayve is advancing the transition from assisted to fully automated driving, making transportation safer, more efficient, and universally accessible. Join our world-class, multinational team of engineers and researchers as we push the boundaries of frontier AI and autonomous driving, creating impactful technologies and products on a global scale

Where you will have an impact

  • Develop and engage Wayve’s commercial partners, with a focus on fleets and data sources. OEM partnerships are outside the scope of this role, but will be a key collaboration area internally
  • Ensure commercial partnership to support Wayve’s commercial strategy and visions including both inbound and outbound partnership opportunities, strategic analysis, relationship building and management
  • Build a clear commercial partner roadmap with measurable time bound goals that are clearly aligned to Wayve’s commercial strategy, vision and development needs. Ensure that this is kept up to date and stakeholders are brought into the key stages as necessary
  • Explore adjacent commercialisation opportunities for Wayve in addition to AVs, in the Embodied AI space (e.g., robotics)
  • Educated and engage with internal teams to increase their understanding of the commercial partners so that we can optimise the long-term value that commercial partnerships can bring to Wayve
  • Partner communications are seamless and timely; partners feel up-to-date on status of pilot (and changes) at all times
  • Partnership learnings to Wayve continue to evolve and grow at a pace that matches internal bandwidth constraints and bridges those against Wayve strategic needs and partner goals
  • Support commercial and tech teams to unlock open-ended ambiguous problems, primarily working with direct team and cross-function partners with clear guidance from above

About you

  • Resilient in the face of adversity: when things do not go as planned, or if plans change, they maintain optimism and high energy to solve the challenge at hand
  • Great communication skills: enables partners and internal teams to understand the end goal, allowing all parties to have enough info to be part of solutioning
  • Humble: views setbacks or incorrect hypothesis as learnings experiences vs failures
  • Big-picture minded: understands the (long-term) end goal, and keeps it in mind as a north star in the midst of (near-term) operational execution
  • Collaborative: Ability to work across various internal and external cross functional teams and knows when to bring in the right people to help “unstick” blockers

This is our ideal candidate, but by no means the only candidate; we all have different strengths. If you don’t match 100% but believe you could do the job well, we would love to hear from you.

What we offer you

  • The chance to be part of a truly mission driven organisation and an opportunity to shape the future of autonomous driving.  Unlike our competitors, Wayve is still relatively small and nimble, giving you the chance to make a huge impact
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A dynamic and fast-paced work environment in which you will grow every day - learning on the job, from the brightest minds in our space, and with support for more formal learning opportunities too
  • A culture that is ego-free, respectful and welcoming (of you and your dog) - we even eat lunch together every day
  • Benefits such as an onsite chef, workplace nursery scheme, private health insurance, cycle scheme, therapy, yoga, two onsite bars, large social budgets
  • This is a full-time role based in our office in London. At Wayve we want the best of all worlds so we operate a hybrid working policy that combines time together in our offices and workshops to fuel innovation, culture, relationships and learning, and time spent working from home.  We also operate core working hours so you can be where you need to be for family and loved ones too.  Teams determine the routines that work best for them.

At Wayve we're committed to creating a diverse, fair and respectful culture that is inclusive of everyone based on their unique skills and perspectives, and regardless of gender, gender identity, gender expression, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, ethnicity, age or religious belief

DISCLAIMER: We will not ask about marriage or pregnancy, care responsibilities or disabilities in any of our job adverts or interviews. However, we do look to capture information about care responsibilities, and disabilities among other diversity information as part of an optional DEI Monitoring form to help us identify areas of improvement in our hiring process and ensure that the process is inclusive and non-discriminatory.
