The task at hand:
Ingest, Transcode and Group/Sync raw material from shoots in Avid as well as an understanding of shared area network storage (Isis)
Media Management for our Avid and Premiere workflows and projects
Coordinate with post supervisor on outputs of sequences for digital delivery.
Managing the organization of the folder structure on the server, project and related media assets as well as backing up/archiving
Contribute in opportunities to develop original content and concepts for web and mobile
Perform minor administrative tasks including: Ex - maintaining asset tracking documents
Responsible for the basic support and maintenance of the offline edit suites
Ability to do basic sound design & audio mixing as well as able to handle basic color correction.
Able to implement provided graphics and titles, and ideally the ability to create original graphics/animation
The ideal candidate has:
1-2 years experience in video/film production as an assistant editor or operator, along with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
Experience with Avid a must. Experience with Interplay and Media Central a plus
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs (i.e. Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator)
Understanding of shared area network storage (ISIS)
Possess a strong sense of self-motivation, initiative and time management skills
Experiences delivering TVC’s through Extreme Reach or a similar vendor a plus
Strong understanding of post-production workflow and the ability to provide recommendations to any process/workflow to increase efficiency
Proficiency in Pro Tools and/or Davinci a plus
Good knowledge of contemporary cameras, file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in a post workflow
Comfortable with Google Apps suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc)
The ability to communicate needs in a positive and productive fashion
