VaynerMedia are looking for someone to manage resourcing for our growing London office. In this role you will manage resourcing for our team of 80 across different disciplines in a highly collaborative environment. Reporting into our Director of Delivery, you will work with department heads, finance, and our delivery team to assign staff while balancing the delivery of quality work with financial priorities.




Lead Resourcing for the Office

  • Lead weekly resourcing and recruiting meeting and associated workstreams
  • Build complete picture of office resources needs and scoped next week, next month
  • Work with HR team and department heads to understand the skills of each individual and factor them into staffing decisions
  • Work with dept heads and biz leads to understand overall company business objectives and planned trajectory for each account
  • Work with delivery and finance team to analyze scoping and burn data to make informed resource decisions
  • Make recommendations to dept heads for full-time or freelance staffing needs based on scopes and resource forecasts
  • Support business leads and dept heads to drive commercials KPIs by always understanding financial forecasts of accounts and impact of hiring decisions
  • Support dept heads to minimise unallocated labor of creative dept by tracking billability and making recommendations for staffing accordingly
  • Create a process that allows us to have as much foresight as possible into future resource needs


Own Hiring and Freelance Operations

  • Sit at the centre of all hiring/freelance needs and manage process for getting people on board
  • Support delivery, strategy, and client service hiring/freelance needs
  • Own creative hiring/freelance needs
  • Build a strong, healthy pool and pipeline of creative freelancers
  • Serve as main point of contact and manage logistics for all freelance staff bookings, contracts and onboarding
  • Own and update freelance tracker to ensure all relevant stakeholders know who is coming in and leaving when
  • Manage annual office freelance budget



  • 6 - 8 years experience managing cross-departmental resources at a creative agency, with a big focus on creative resourcing
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop trust among the team

  • In-depth understanding of creative agency processes and best practices
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to make complex staffing decisions
  • Ability to make staff plans, schedules, cost management plans, and reports
  • Ability to evaluate portfolios for both skills and subjective quality
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience with Workamajig, Harvest Forecast, or similar project management / resourcing tool is helpful
