ROLE
We are seeking a proactive Technical Administrator to join our growing Unispace Life Sciences team. This role is based out of our Cork office. In this role, you will be supporting our project management team, reporting directly to the Director of Project Management. You will already have experience of working in an administrative role; in a project design environment with a minimum of 3 years’ general administrative experience would be ideal.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance of project trackers including RAID trackers, including scheduling regular review with key stakeholders.
- Ensure internal procedures and processes are mapped, formalised and amended when necessary.
- Draft weekly and monthly project status reports for review by Project / Programme manager / Director.
- Assist with workshop and meeting planning and preparation.
- Support maintenance and regular updates of Project Tracking tools
- Attending project and Stakeholder meetings to monitor and record progress of actions and identify problems.
- Proof read and amend documents created by others.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualification in business, administration, engineering or other related fields.
- Proactive approach – self-motivated, comfortable to work on own initiative and collaboratively works with others
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic, strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Relevant industrial experience is required, from engineering, pharmaceutical or project related industries
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills – the ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management and External Bodies.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and be adaptable to various competing demands.
- Computer literacy is essential. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Visio and other Microsoft packages, must be open to embracing new technology
