ROLE

We are seeking a proactive Senior E&I Engineer to join our growing Unispace Life Sciences team. This role is based out of our Cork or Dublin office. The successful candidate will have full autonomy to lead, grow and develop the role. This position will play a key role in the Company’s expansion and growth. They will report to the E&I Manager. This role will be involved in exciting projects within the pharmaceutical industry and requires an experienced individual with strong attention to detail. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Providing lead support on an integrated, multi-tasking design team.
  • Strong technical ability in all aspects of E&I Engineering & Design.
  • Proactive with a strong ability to work independently and without supervision.
  • Design and specification of instrumentation and control systems to current regulations and design standards.
  • Engineering design for Instrument Systems.
  • Preparing Instrument Specifications.
  • Inputting into P&ID drawings.
  • Electrical Design.
  • Generation of instrument loop sheets & termination schedules.
  • Generation of layout drawings.
  • Input to scope of work documentation for tender & construction packages.
  • Working directly with clients to define project requirements and develop technical solutions

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Third level diploma / degree in a relevant Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering discipline
  • 7+ Years Relevant experience, ideally in an organization involved in delivering pharmaceutical capital projects
  • Proactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional design team.
  • Have the ability to work with Automation Contractors in developing solutions / systems.

  • Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
