As a Senior Product Designer focused on Design Systems, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the design system for the next generation of Underdog products. You'll team up with our product and engineering teams to standardize the digital experience for our players and fans. You will utilize design-thinking, product strategy and brand to create exceptional experiences and features across the Fantasy and Sportsbook products.

What you’ll do:

  • Build a design system by developing standard language, components, layouts, and tooling for our web and mobile products 
  • Create and maintain internal libraries and supporting documentation around our design system, advocating for its use when applicable across the larger product organization
  • Identify future optimizations and enhancements, thinking about scalability, accessibility, usability and player needs
  • Work closely with engineering partners to deeply understand issues related to our players’ experience and how to best build the Underdog user experience
  • Collaborate and contribute to a world-class design team through knowledge shares, critiques and workshops.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital product design, with direct experience in creating, implementing and maintaining a design system from the ground up
  • High frequency problem solver who is effective in situations with limited information, building a solution from concept and communicating it to stakeholders
  • A humbled, motivated individual constantly geared to ship the most ideal solution and experience for the end user and their goals
  • Experienced designing solutions for native mobile and web
  • Experienced in Figma

Even better if you have…

  • Experience building and maintaining a design system for a consumer-based application
