We are looking for a creative and data-driven Senior Content & SEO Associate to play a pivotal role in delivering Turo’s content marketing and SEO strategy in Australia. As a Senior Content & SEO Associate, you’ll have the opportunity to drive Turo’s Australian SEO strategy from ideation to execution. You’ll think like an owner and work closely with a cross functional team in rallying towards ambitious SEO goals. The outcome of your work will be hugely impactful on Turo’s growth in Australia.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in content strategies, technical audits and SEO/CRO experimentation, with a proven track record of working with a team to grow SEO. You’ll have hands-on experience with SEO and web analytics tools and are comfortable using data to guide your decision making.

The Senior Content & SEO Associate is a full-time position reporting to our Senior Manager, Marketing (Australia).

What you will do:

Listed in order of most relevant to least relevant.

  • Lead the creation and prioritisation of the Content Calendar & SEO Roadmap, as well as seeking alignment and buy-in with internal stakeholders
  • Work with our Senior Manager, Marketing to set clear SEO goals, KPIs and requirements to measure what success looks like
  • Work closely with researchers, copywriters, designers and engineers to drive projects from planning to execution, followed by post-implementation analysis and reporting
  • Leverage content marketing/SEO tools to make data-driven decisions about our content and SEO strategy
  • Optimise our site, landing pages, help pages and blog for both search engines and end users
  • Scale and improve SEO workflows and processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency
  • Keep on top of industry trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to inform SEO strategies and tactics, and identify new growth opportunities

Your profile:

  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing and/or SEO
  • Well-rounded in all aspects of SEO from content strategies to technical audits as well as SEO/CRO experimentation
  • You have experience managing projects in cross-functional teams
  • You are comfortable with documentation/briefing to communicate SEO strategies and technical SEO requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console and SEMRush.
  • Excellent written English including good spelling and grammar in addition to outstanding proof-reading skills
