Engineering Leadership Opportunity - Neutron Program Operations
Based in Long Beach, USA, this is a key role in supporting the development of the Neutron launch vehicle where you will work across several functional disciplines and organisations to align teams with program objectives. This role will be responsible for maintaining alignment through schedule, budget while supporting technical direction of all US based operations for the Neutron launch vehicle and ground systems development.
The role will also be a focal in liaising with internal and external stakeholders e.g. USG and support business development and certification activities.

- Background in aerospace development projects (10+ years)
- Demonstrated experience with program management, systems engineering and product certification
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to drive outcomes from adjacent teams in a matrix organizational structure
- Proven capability with building (from the ground up) and running high performing teams
- Clear decision making under pressure
- Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
- A high work ethic working leveraging Rocket Lab’s global team and facilities
