Team Description

As the product leader for Session Replay, you’ll be responsible for launching Pendo’s newest module that helps our clients better understand their user’s journey. With Session Replay, you can view customers interacting with your product throughout different moments in time. You’ll create and maintain a vision for this product area, and communicate and evangelize that vision within Pendo. Finally, you’ll be a strong cross team partner to Sales, Support, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partnerships as the subject-matter expert for this area.

As a core member of Pendo's Product Team, you will be responsible for widening the footprint of the Pendo platform by helping build out a Pendo product that will be used by product teams in a vast variety of companies. 

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Utilizes deep understanding of product management, Pendo's product ecosystem, competitive landscape, industry / market best practices / trends to positively impact business objectives
  • Expert in one (or more) of Pendo's most critical products
  • Provides strategic recommendations and drives execution of product roadmaps. Thrives in testing assumptions with prototypes, validating features with an mvp approach while always considering end-user feedback
  • Assesses business and customer requirements, matches these requirements to objectives and guides teams through execution and delivery
  • Helps define standards and provides guidance across teams for the team on best practices, procedures and standards that promote scalability, stability and continuous improvement
  • Works with sales to drive revenue goals and integrate market feedback with roadmap changes
  • Plays an active cross functional role working with sales, marketing and customer success.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies in order to help engineering prioritize right work. 

 

Minimum Qualifications  

  • 6+ Years of product management experience
  • Experience leading team product planning activities for technical software products

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working in the b2b SaaS Enterprise Platform space
  • Ability to bring a new product/feature to market in the b2b space, experience going from 0 to 1 in new product launch
  • Product Owner Certification (Nice to have)
  • Previous experience building session replay or heavy users of the such a technology
  • Previous experience with Pendo or similar products
  • Experience working collaborating with design tools like Figma

Compensation 

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in:

Raleigh, NC - USD $142,000 - $175,000

Remote - USD $142,000 - $175,000

San Francisco Bay Area, CA - USD $164,000 - $186,000

New York City, NY - USD $149,000 - $184,000

Colorado - USD $142,000 - $175,000

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
