About the Role: 

The Associate Manager, Key Accounts is responsible for supporting the achievement of retail and net sales plans for OLAPLEX within Sephora North America. This role will work directly with the Director of Retail Sales to develop strategies to achieve sales and budget targets, and key marketing objectives.

  • Support Director, Retail Sales of on a day-to-day business needs for Sephora North America
    • Own internal and external core team touch base meeting agendas
    • Recap retailer meetings and share out key learnings and topics to appropriate parties 
  • Assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and analytics
    • Own weekly sell-through tracker updates and revisions
    • Identify opportunities / risks based upon analysis, make recommendations to capitalize / mitigate as needed
    • Partner with Director on monthly productivity/rank and sales analysis, share highlights and proposed actionable strategies with internal core team (marketing, education, field) 
    • Ad Hoc reporting
  • Build / maintain strong relationships and work closely with Merchants / Category Managers to support initiatives
    • Communicate with retailer counterparts on a day-to-day basis with follow ups, tactical needs, etc. 
  • Manage and oversee Purchase Orders, RTVs and T&Ds process and execution
    • Manage and track RTVs and T&Ds with Operations & Finance/Accounting teams
    • Collaborate with operations internally on any PO discrepancies and communicate with key account partner to make any necessary adjustments in timely fashion
  • Own new item setups, comp orders and form completion for business updates
    • Portal Ownership
    • Partner with coordinator to complete NIF forms, send comps of new launches
    • Partner with Marketing team to complete product copy on NIF forms and upload assets
  • Regularly update Sales templates, Retail calendars, Forecast documents and trackers
    • Update retail calendars, forecast trackers, innovation
  • Partner with internal and external teams to meet deadlines and deliverables
    • Drive bi-weekly internal key account core team meeting in partnership with Trade Marketing, Education, Retailer.com and Field teams
    • Collect all topics and share agenda the day prior to meeting, recap day following
  • Support execution of Retail Sales initiatives and projects, In the Kitchen and Market Meeting Decks, 360 brand strategies
    • Partner with Retail Marketing team on Market Decks, 360 plans, VM assortments and planograms
    • Market and In the Kitchen Meeting support from inception through execution
    • Manage Holiday / Market retailer gifts process with internal stakeholders from inception through execution
    • Ownership of competitive analysis and site audits
  • Create and manage timelines to ensure pending projects and on track with deliverables
  • Partner with Marketing, Education, and Planning teams to support developing sampling plans, training levers and Retailer targeted needs to grow business
    • Manage and track all PO’s for sampling, bundling, gratis, and review seeding. Communicate with the warehouse to ensure on time delivery

About You:  

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 3-5 years of previous related experience
  • Should possess exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with internal team members, senior management, and external partners
  • Comfortable working with numbers and analytical mindset
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (G-Drive), most notably, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented with a dedication to quality work
  • Team player working with cross-functional departments: Trade/Marketing, Field Team, Education, Demand Planning, and Sales Operations/Customer Service
  • Passion for the beauty industry

Our Total Rewards: 

The annual base pay for this position is $75,000 - $85, 000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
