About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager, Innovation Product Development will lead and manage activities across Product Development, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Education, IT, and Finance to ensure excellence in on time and execution for NPD and Non-NPD projects globally. As an integral member of the team, the Project Manager must be: diligent and assertive to drive the process; flexible and adaptive to proactively manage deviations, and engaged to identify and manage project risks.
- Design strategic project plans, identifying critical path and accounting for cross-functional interdependencies, strong understanding of task-mapping required
- Clearly document and drive milestone adherence across teams. Set due dates/make revisions as needed, and own follow up to ensure tasks are met. or contingencies developed
- Identify and propose contingency plans as needed to keep initiatives on-time, in-scope, and in-budget, while managing risk
- Lead and facilitate regular cross-functional team meetings, coordinating activities across Product Development, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Education, IT, and Finance team members to create and execute necessary timelines and activities
- Proactively identify risks. Counter-act and press for decisions in order to execute on-time and within quality expectations
- Prioritize tasks, adjust workflow, cross-functional teams to move projects forward
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, creating and refining best practices and processes for successful project execution
- Serve as point of contact in between formal project meetings to drive communication and action where needed to support project execution
- Communicate project status updates, actions and risks to the executive team
Scope of the Role
- Responsible for managing innovation and development projects
- Manage project briefs. Assess accuracy, completion, and scoping, provide feedback to brief-creators as necessary to get to approval
- Lead stage-gate process for assigned projects, ensuring preparation and gate adherence.
- Responsible for working directly and autonomously with the PD team on Formula and Packaging Development
- Responsible for getting estimated and final forecasts identifying and communicating final forecast due dates for NPD products, in support of strategic project timing
- Coordinate artwork flow and creative team reviews and approvals. Kick off artwork process, manage approvals, revisions, and track to final release
- Create, plan, and manage strategic timelines for Innovation Team and GTM launch calendar
- Collaborate with the Marketing Directors on the cross functional tasks between NPD and GTM milestones
- Lead a cross functional status meeting to review progress against timelines for NPD launches
- Assess future development research projects and timeline scoping
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in either R&D or Supply Chain
- 7+ years of experience in process/project management across global teams, and/or concentration of R&D or Supply Chain.
- Strong understanding of project management foundations, experience with stage-gate process strongly preferred
- Skilled problem-solver who drives out-of-the-box thinking when appropriate
- Adept at operating autonomously amidst ambiguity
- Ability to lead and influence without being the direct manager of all team members
- Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail

Our Total Rewards:
The annual base pay for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
