About the Role:
The Senior Demand Planner will be responsible for developing demand plans by product, channel, and customer. The role will be responsible for analyzing point of sales, market, historical and forward-looking data to provide accurate signals to the Supply team. As an integral part of the IBP process the Sr. Demand Planner will inform the organization on annual projections, including risks and opportunities. We’re looking for a team player with a curious and proactive approach to work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop monthly sales demand plans by product, channel, and retailer/distributor
- Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, POS and inventory levels)
- Provide in-depth information on customer program performance and trends
- Establish effective and supportive working relationships with the Sales & Finance teams
- Provide input into and participate in the monthly IBP meetings
- Monitor performance vs. the forecast and identify any key shifts or trends
- Analyze forecast variation/deviation with the goal of minimizing service issues and prevent the build-up of excess & obsolete inventory
- Utilize and suggest improvements to analytical tools and processes to support forecast development
- Exhibit exceptional communication, follow through, and organizational skills
- Create ad-hoc reports as requested
About You:
- 3-5 years’ experience in demand planning
- Excellent Excel skills required
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- A proactive and curious mindset
- Experience in the cosmetic is desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field preferred
- Expert with modeling, forecasting, reporting tools, & supply/demand matching
- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally
- Demand Planning system implementation experience is a plus

Our Total Rewards:
The annual base pay for this position is $71,000 - $90,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
