THE POSITION
The Media Partnerships Manager will be a key player in growing our affiliate marketing program. In this role, you will focus on increasing our channel's media sources by developing and nurturing partnerships. You will collaborate with the Product Marketing & Media Partnerships teams to support strategy development, assist with forecasts, and engage with both new and existing affiliates. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and dedicated to media management. A background in affiliate marketing is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the growth of the affiliate program by assisting with strategic planning and partner recruitment.
- Work closely with the Product Marketing & Media Partnerships teams to implement and track strategies.
- Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with affiliate networks and partners.
- Help monitor and analyze program performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in testing and optimizing affiliate marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to review performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth.
- Address basic technical issues related to affiliate programs, working with technical teams as needed.
- Prepare and process reports and updates accurately and on time.
- Contribute to the development of new tactics and strategies for affiliate marketing.
Basic Experience / Training / Education:
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing or a related field, preferably in online marketing or affiliate marketing.
- Basic project and budget management experience.
- Experience or strong interest in affiliate marketing, especially in the insurance sector, is a plus.
Preferred Experience/Training/Education:
- 2-3 years of experience in affiliate marketing or related fields.
- Experience working with affiliate tracking platforms is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and stay organized.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Passion for media and digital marketing, with an interest in exploring new partner opportunities and tactics.
Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- A power-user of Microsoft Excel, or a willingness and aptitude to quickly become a power-user
- General knowledge of the online marketing, affiliate marketing, online retail or online lead generation space.
