YOUR MISSION
As a DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for building, setting up, and maintaining infrastructure and platforms crucial to our operations. Your tasks will include:
- Implementing CI/CD processes
- Managing infrastructure for Deep Neural Network (DNN) training
- Orchestrating containers using Kubernetes and managing Virtual Machines
- Supporting LeddarTech's chosen Cloud Platform(s)
- Defining and executing technical roadmaps and workplans for upgrades, updates, and fixes
- Automating development and release processes
- Collaborating with engineers to ensure development aligns with established processes
- Ensuring system security against cyber threats
- Implementing modern DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, GitOps, and more
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:In your role, you will:
- Provide Level 2 technical support
- Build and maintain tools to enhance customer experience and reduce errors
- Develop software to integrate with internal systems
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Automate work processes through scripting
- Design troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for systems
The Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- A BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
- Strong networking configuration and setup skills
- Excellent knowledge of Linux and Windows OS administration
- Proficiency in virtualization and containerization technologies, along with their orchestration
- Good programming skills, especially in bash and Python
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Ability to document and monitor production setups
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Collaborative team spirit and effective communication skills
