Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
Developing algorithms for automotive-grade sensor calibrations (100%)
- Develop and deliver calibration algorithms for the following sensors: Cameras, Radars, Lidars, IMUs
- Conduct literature surveys, proof of concepts, and full product-oriented algorithms research
- Develop test metrics and evaluation methods
- Collaborate with the application engineering team regarding data collection, testing, and executing official vehicle calibrations
- Perform design reviews and knowledge sharing
The ideal person to fill this position will have
- PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics from top-tier universities
- Proven experience in algorithm development and innovations in Computer Vision
- Camera intrinsic and extrinsic calibration experience
- Ability to take full ownership of R&D process of a specific research field from ideation to delivery
- Python experience
- Deep Learning experience - advantage
- Sensors Fusion experience - advantage
