Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature surveys, proof of concepts, and full product-oriented algorithms research.
  • Design block-level Python reference code and integrate it into the system-level Python reference code.
  • Plan and design test metrics and evaluation methods for the algorithms.
  • Plan, monitor, and work closely with the data team for data collection, data handling, and defining labeling policies.
  • Perform design reviews and knowledge sharing to ensure high-quality algorithm development.
  • Deliver algorithms to the software team, support bit-accurate activities, and deliver evaluation reference code to the application team.
  • Integrate algorithm systems and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Coordinate labeling policies to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
  • Contribute to system-level design for optimal performance.
  • Conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts) for new technologies to drive innovation.

The ideal person for this job will have

  • PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics from top-tier universities.
  • Proven experience in algorithm development and innovation in the fields of computer vision (CV) and machine learning (ML).
  • Demonstrated ownership of algorithms and end-to-end R&D research cycles.
  • Expertise in computer vision and machine learning algorithm development.
  • Ability to take ownership and independently conduct R&D in specific research fields.
  • Experience in Deep Neural Network (DNN) training.
  • Proficiency in Python coding.
  • Proficiency in C++ coding.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to cooperate effectively with other groups and customers.
