YOUR MISSION

Leadership of the V&V department and related activities (70%)

  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate the activities and operations of the group System Testing and Verification of the Sensor Fusion and Perception business unit
  • Set up performance indicators to ensure that the group’s objectives are achieved by maximizing the efficiency of human and material resources
  • Develop and implement system testing and verification strategies, quality standards and guidelines for product development, combining software and hardware
  • Collaborate on the development of the department budget and ensure close monitoring
  • Determine system testing and verification technology, tools and methods used in product development
  • Ensure that verification and validation methods, procedures and standards are followed in accordance with requirements
  • Work in a multidisciplinary matrix engineering context involving software, hardware and microelectronics development, system architecture and quality control teams
  • Monitor the development of projects and produce regular reports on their progress and/or required adjustments

Personnel management (30%)

  • Lead, develop, recruit, and mentor people for professional development and growth;
  • Development of people through comprehensive succession planning, mentoring and future-oriented development programs;
  • Manage across functional teams within an international structure that requires influencing at all levels;
  • Participate directly, as appropriate, in the development of the CoEs Product development projects.

The ideal person for this job will have

  • S. in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years leading an Verification & Validation team in the automotive industry;
  • Expertise implementing vision & perception algorithms and deploying on real-world systems
  • Deep expertise in one of the following fields and excellent knowledge in others: sensor fusion, probabilistic perception, object tracking, computer vision, machine learning.
  • Strong business acumen and technical expertise with proven capability to understand market needs and productize.
  • Effectively lead and manage within a fast-paced, high-growth, with global operations and relationships;
  • Initiative, proactive approach to drive change and continuous improvement with a relentless focus on execution and results;
  • Strategic thinking, enabling to effectively lead the development and implementation of engineering strategies for company growth;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to champion change and encourages innovation in response to changing market situations;
  • Ability to plan and control effectively the projects execution under his responsibility.
  • Deep knowledge of ISO-26262, ASIL-B and Automotive SPICE;
  • Strong leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset;
  • A team player with strong communication, negotiating and people management skills.
  • A leader that is versatile with unique cross-functional and transnational people leadership qualities, who is enthusiastic about tackling complex problems across a full range of our products, systems and customers
