We are searching for a Director of Corporate Marketing with a passion for creating and telling impactful brand stories to join our team. This role will be a first on our marketing team and will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our corporate marketing strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Director of Corporate Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing programs that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement in alignment with LearnUpon's business goals and objectives. In this role, we are looking for a strong leader who will focus on getting the best form and growing the team in place today while owning the development of world-class brand positioning, compelling campaigns, differentiated thought leadership and content, and a highly effective communications function.

Role & responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage a high-performing team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and providing ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and executive team to define the content & brand marketing strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with LearnUpon's overall business objectives.
- Messaging & Positioning: Review and define brand messaging & positioning in collaboration with key stakeholders, that you will then use to develop and launch strategic brand campaigns that drive awareness and engagement with key market segments.
- Content Marketing: Lead and execute a content strategy - campaign ideation, development, review, launch & promotion - that engages our customers & prospects, with the goal of providing value/ insight in every interaction, making LearnUpon a go-to destination for knowledge and resources supporting and celebrating the L&D community.
- Content Marketing Contd.: Conduct periodic content audits for all website and content assets, and perform gap analyses to align the content and SEO strategies to reach and engage our key audiences across our multiple market segments.
- Corporate Communications: Manage corporate communications across various channels, including public relations, executive thought leadership, and social media.
- Public Relations: Lead the PR strategy, including media relations, press releases, speaking engagements, and industry awards.
- Brand Awareness: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
- Analytics & Reporting: Develop metrics and reporting systems to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, provide actionable insights, and drive continuous improvement.
- Tooling & Resources: Own and manage requirements definition, selection, and implementation of content-related technologies such as AI tools. Also, own & manage the selection of and relationship with new/ existing vendors.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer success, product management, and executive leadership, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and contribute to overall company success.
What skills do I need?
- You have 7+ years of corporate/ brand marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech.
- 5+ years management experience with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- A true believer in the power of storytelling and experience building compelling content that resonates with a target audience.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive marketing decisions and optimize performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for education, technology, and driving positive learning outcomes.
