The Position:

To capitalise on strong travel recovery, KAYAK is hiring a Business Analyst in our APAC Marketing Team. To succeed in this role, you will thrive in an agile environment, love to problem-solve, learn new skills, analyse data and find practical outcomes. Pragmatic and excellent with time management, focusing on where we can derive the most business value, you are adept at succinctly explaining your findings to the relevant business partners for action-orientated outcomes and opportunities.

This role will primarily focus on optimising and analysing brand marketing campaigns, global growth campaigns, reporting, aligning offline and digital activities and assisting our international team in growing their market share. Daily core responsibilities include querying and analysing large datasets.


  • 3-5 years proven track record in an analytical role (required; preferably in marketing; marketing BI; commercial BI).
  • Degree in Business, Economics or Statistics.
  • Querying and analysis of the large data sets: data modelling, statistical analysis, data manipulation, cleaning and cleansing.
  • Report and dashboard creation.
  • Collaboration with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Conversion rate optimisation analysis.
  • Proficient analytical, commercial and communication skills.
  • SQL and Excel.

Education and Experience:

  • Practical experience analysing the performance of a multi-channel media marketing campaign.
  • Demonstrated experience working with marketing directors to define success metrics and present valuable insights
  • Crafted methodologies to measure and improve the efficiency of media spend across multiple touchpoints, including through the implementation and governance around multi-touch attribution.
  • Collaborated with external data sources to communicate market trends and environmental conditions.
  • Tableau and R/Matlab/Python.
  • Inherent curiosity about solving business problems.
  • E-commerce and travel experience is a plus.
