In this role, you will:

As a member of the Compliance & Ethics team we centre on the effective implementation of our compliance program and high ethical standards while helping the business navigate the constantly evolving travel and dining landscapes. This position will report to our Senior Director of Compliance & Ethics based in Connecticut, United States. This is a phenomenal opportunity for any compliance professional who enjoys a challenge, has strong communication skills, and a thirst for learning as much as they can about the business they support!

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in developing and implementing FCRM programs (e.g., sanctions, AML, KYP, controls implementation and testing, third-party due diligence, governance, and training).
  • Advise key collaborators on various sanctions and FCRM regulations governing the business
  • Complete customer due diligence on prospective Third Parties and conduct periodic due diligence reviews on existing Third Parties.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate FCRM and Sanctions risks and issues
  • Conduct risk assessments, and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support and advise our business cross-functionally, from reviewing contract clauses related to the compliance function to assisting Human Resources and our Commercial teams on related matters.
  • Maintain compliance policies and procedures databases.
  • Develop and execute compliance & ethics campaigns on relevant topics or initiatives, including training to internal teams.
  • Assist in the administration of the Company’s Ethics Ambassador program.
  • Assist with compliance audits and reviews, communicate results and recommendations in clear and concise written reports, and collaborate with management to ensure corrective actions are implemented optimally.
  • International travel will be required!

What skills do I need for this role?

  • You have proven understanding around AML/KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening practices, and financial crime risks and controls.
  • Good knowledge of U.S. Sanctions and FCPA regulations
  • Experience in writing policies, and procedure documents, crafting process flows, and risk assessments.
  • Experience in FCRM.
  • Must possess excellent matrix leadership skills/stakeholder management
  • Willingness to learn, and adapt to opposing priorities; the desire to operate in a dynamic and high-growth environment.
  • Strong technical, communication, and writing skills.
  • Creative problem solver who possesses sound business judgment.
  • Ambitious approach to Qualifications
  • working in a compliance and ethics / FCRM /sanctions environment is required.
  • Hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certified as a Compliance & Ethics Professional (preferred) (It would be required within 18 months of appointment to position).
