We are looking for a skilled, driven, and hardworking developer with a passion for learning and delivering. You will join the team in Kaunas that is developing and maintaining our content platform, serving our 8 brands in more than 20 different languages and locales all across the world. You will work closely with other teams to deliver compelling, engaging content which drives traffic to our core product. Responsibilities 

  • Individual and team-based design and development of new features related to our content platform;

  • Active participation in the ongoing maintenance and improvement to existing features of our content network;

  • Support, training and cooperation with content creators across the company enabling them to make the best use of the content platform;

  • Cooperation with other engineering teams to create a seamless and integrated experience for our visitors.

Requirements

  • Strong programming fundamentals;

  • Front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript);

  • PHP development experience;

  • Understanding of modern development tools and flows - Git, CI/CD, Composer, Webpack, PostCSS, etc.;

  • Knowledge of performance considerations, especially with respect to browsers;

  • Ability to debug issues in a full-stack environment;

  • Bonus skills:

    • Experience with WordPress CMS;

    • Experience with Apache, MySQL;

    • Experience with Protractor/Webdriver.io.

Qualifications

  • Team player who likes to engage with colleagues at a professional and personal level;

  • Handling a high volume of requests with frequent interruptions;

  • Ability to prioritize their own work while taking infrastructure and business needs into account;

  • Excellent technical communication skills.

When joining KAYAK/OT you will be entitled to our compensation package. In addition to the regular salary, you will have a possibility to be granted RSU and annual bonus under KAYAK’s internal rules. The base salary is from 1000 EUR to 2500 EUR (net). Other bonuses depend on your performance.

Salary range provided is not final and will be discussed during the process based on your skills and experience.
